J&A Dealer Portal Privacy Policy

J&A Custom Granite and Marble, LLC (“J&A,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, protect, and delete information when you use the J&A Dealer Portal or connect it with QuickBooks Online.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect business and contact information such as names, company names, email addresses, telephone numbers, billing and delivery addresses, contractor account details, and login-related information. We may also collect order information, selected products, pricing levels, quantities, assembly and delivery selections, taxes, payment status, invoice references, purchase-order references, and customer-support communications.
When an authorized administrator connects QuickBooks Online, we may access or exchange customer, product and service, invoice, payment, tax, company, and related accounting information necessary to provide the integration. We also receive the QuickBooks company identifier and OAuth authorization tokens required to maintain the connection. We do not receive or store your QuickBooks password.
We may collect technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, timestamps, error records, and security logs to operate and protect the portal.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage accounts; provide contractor pricing; process, fulfill, and support cabinet orders; calculate applicable charges and taxes; create and reconcile QuickBooks invoices and payments; provide pickup or delivery services; prevent fraud; maintain security; troubleshoot errors; communicate service information; keep business and accounting records; and comply with legal obligations.
QuickBooks data is used only for the functions disclosed in this policy and expected by the authorized J&A company administrator. We do not use QuickBooks data for unrelated advertising.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, process payments for, or operate the portal; with product suppliers and delivery providers when necessary to fulfill an order; and with professional advisers or government authorities when required by law. Service providers may use information only to perform services for J&A and must protect it appropriately.
We do not sell personal information or QuickBooks data. We do not provide QuickBooks data to unrelated third parties for their own marketing or advertising.
4. QuickBooks Online and Intuit
The portal uses Intuit’s OAuth authorization process. An authorized administrator chooses whether to connect the company’s QuickBooks Online account and grants the requested accounting permission. The connection can be removed through the portal or from QuickBooks Online. Intuit’s own terms and privacy statement also apply to QuickBooks Online.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain order, invoice, payment, customer, and accounting records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the business, provide support, maintain accurate financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements. OAuth tokens are retained only while the QuickBooks connection is active or as needed to complete an authorized disconnection.
When QuickBooks is disconnected, we stop requesting new QuickBooks data and delete or disable the related OAuth credentials. Data that must be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes may remain for the applicable retention period and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, secure communications, limited access to production credentials, and appropriate protection of OAuth tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The portal may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session management, security, preferences, and reliable operation. We may also use limited analytics to understand and improve portal performance.
8. Children
The J&A Dealer Portal is intended for businesses and authorized adult users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through the portal.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may update certain account information, disconnect QuickBooks Online, or contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion rights. Rights vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to lawful exceptions.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the portal, legal requirements, or our data practices. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when legally required.
